I’ve spent most of my adult life traveling the world – as a Marine Corps fighter pilot, lawyer, Pan Am pilot, resturanteur, humanitarian aid worker, bicycle traveler, and finally as a writer. I love what travel has given me and the people I’ve encountered along the way. Wherever I go I try to search out the history, geography, art, music, and theater of the people and places I visit. Some of these places are nearby. Some are far away. Whether they’re old or new, near or far away, I hope you’ll see them as I do – with fresh eyes.
Please Note: This journal contains a wide variety of stuff — complete stories, bits and pieces, commentary, and who-knows-what else. As is always the case these days, the material is protected by copyright. On the other hand, I publish it here to be shared. Feel free to pass it on. Just give me credit. Fair enough? (I lifted this note from Robert Fulghum’s website, and I’m adopting it for my own. Make sense?)
